A working workshop is hard on a floor. Oil, grease, brake fluid, battery acid, hot tyres, dropped tools and heavy equipment all land on the same surface, often at the same time, and bare or poorly coated concrete soaks it all up and breaks down.
We install epoxy and resin flooring for commercial and industrial workshops across Perth and WA, including automotive and vehicle workshops, mechanical and fabrication workshops, mining and plant workshops and service areas.
Uncoated concrete is porous. Oil and chemicals soak in, stain the slab and attack the surface, and dust lifts off with every pass of a vehicle. A properly installed epoxy system seals the concrete, bonds into it and stops spills from penetrating, which also makes the workshop brighter, cleaner and safer to work in.
A light-vehicle service bay and a heavy mining workshop don’t need the same floor. We assess your equipment, vehicle weights, chemicals and cleaning methods, then specify a system with the right thickness and impact strength. Heavier-duty sites get a higher-build system, while lighter-use areas can use a more economical option.
Oil and fluids on a smooth floor are a slip hazard. Non-slip finishes are built into the system where needed, and colour-coded zones and line marking can separate vehicle paths, pedestrian walkways and workstations. A lighter-coloured floor also reflects light and makes spills and debris easier to spot.
